The 2019 Lincoln MKZ Has More Safety Features and Reshuffled Trim Levels

What changes has Lincoln made to the 2019 Lincoln MKZ? Not a lot. All new MKZ models now come standard with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360, which includes auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto high beams. Lincoln also reshuffled the MKZ's trim levels. It's now available in Base, Reserve I and Reserve II trim levels that replace the former Premiere, Select and Reserve trim levels. Because of that, the MKZ's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine is now only available on the Reserve trim level for 2019.

One thing that hasn't changed about the 2019 Lincoln MKZ is its smooth, quiet ride, thanks to its carefully tuned suspension and insulated cabin. It still comes standard with an energetic 245-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a polished, six-speed automatic transmission. Optional engines include a 400-horsepower V6 engine and a hybrid 188-horsepower four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. With the hybrid powertrain, you can get fantastic fuel economy, at 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

The 2019 Lincoln MKZ immerses you in comfort with its standard 10-way power adjustable heated front seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and synthetic leather upholstery. It also has one of the largest trunks in its class, at 15.4 cubic feet. Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard, along with the SYNC 3 infotainment interface and push-button start. Move up to the higher trims and you get premium materials like venetian leather, Alcantara fabric, and rich wood trim. Other optional features include a retractable panoramic glass sunroof and a voice-activated navigation system. The 2019 Lincoln MKZ has tons of standard features and marvelous reliability ratings, and it's available now at Livermore Lincoln. Visit us and test drive one today.
