Upgraded Styling for the 2023 Model Year
Lincoln offers a collection of luxurious and refined SUVs with plenty of style and technology. The 2023 Lincoln Corsair is the smallest SUV in the lineup, and the automaker gave it a subtle styling upgrade with a new grille design, headlights, and wheels. The interior space also received new technology and color combinations with customized accents and upholstery. As the automaker completes its 100th-anniversary celebration, it’s time to visit Livermore Lincoln near Verona to see how the automaker has evolved as it enters its second century.
Power and Performance in the Luxury Compact SUV
Lincoln offers the 2023 Corsair with a handful of satisfying powertrains. In the Standard and Reserve trims, the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine performs well in the city and on the highway. It delivers 250 horsepower and gets an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 22/29 MPG when outfitted with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available on the Standard and Reserve trims, and they come with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission.
Lincoln also offers the Corsair in the Grand Touring trim with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that delivers 266 horsepower. This model has a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine paired with a pair of electric motors that deliver up to 28 miles of all-electric driving. The SUV relies on a continuously variable transmission and has an EPA-estimated hybrid fuel rating of 28 MPG combined. The Grand Touring is available only with the all-wheel-drive system.
The Grand Touring model needs about four hours to achieve a full charge with a 240-volt Level 2 charging station. With a 110-volt household outlet, the battery needs about 10 hours to charge.
The Corsair has four drive modes that adjust the fuel efficiency and transmission for varying road conditions. The four standard modes are Normal, Excite, Conserve, and Slippery. The Grand Touring PHEV has two additional modes: Pure EV and Preserve EV so drivers can manage their battery use.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Technology
The compact luxury SUV comes with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 suite of safety features. The features in the Corsair Standard include Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Parking Sensors, Pre-Collision Warning and Braking, and a Rearview Camera.
Lincoln offers the available Co-Pilot260 1.5 package with the Surround-View Parking Camera System, Front Parking Sensors, Reverse Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Centering, Evasive Steering Assist, Park Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control. These features work together to give drivers a hands-free driving system on divided highways.
Impressive Infotainment System
The 2023 Lincoln Corsair interior features an impressive infotainment system and comfort technology. Lincoln added a new 13.2-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge display. The redesigned center console features the infotainment system and climate controls. Drivers can use the touchscreen or small joysticks on the steering wheel.
The Standard trim has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation, a 14-speaker Revel audio system, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio are standard on the Reserve trim.
Exquisite Lincoln Styling
The 2023 Lincoln Corsair dimensions provide plenty of comfort and cargo space. The SUV seats five and has about 27.6 feet of cargo space when the rear seats are upright and 57.6 cubic feet with the rear seats lowered. The PHEV has 26.9 and 56.2 cubic feet with the seats upright or lowered.
Lincoln added new color combinations and themes to the interior. The Grand Touring model has Whisper Blue accents to show off the electric system, while the Standard and Reserve trims have Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red interior color themes. The Smoked Truffle trim adds warm tones to the interior, while the Eternal Red theme brings red-colored leather and bright aluminum to the interior.
The standard upholstery is synthetic leather and the front seats are heated and have power adjustability. Drivers can add leather seats with heating and ventilation and a heated steering wheel with the available packages. The Reserve trim is outfitted with genuine leather seats.
